Acne, Puberty, Worries!? Girls and Women Only Please!!!?
MOST girls get huge breakouts when they hit puberty. I was one of the lucky ones that did not . To make sure I did not , I used a daily facial cleaner in the shower every morning, and before I went to bed at night. Once or twice a week I would use an astringent. (they cost like $4 at any grocery/drug store) Make sure you change your pillow cases often, and if you wear makeup, that you wash it off before you go to bed. Girls tend to break out more during the cold season too, because they are not in the chlorine and the sun as much. Take care of your skin girl, and it will take care of you. When you start wearing makeup, and when you go to buy lotions, make sure they do not contain mineral oil, because that can actually clog your pores, and its really bad for your liver. (but most products have it in them) I have a perfect complexion hun, and that's ALL Ive ever done. If you do not have acne, I would not recommend getting proactive. Its really a waste of money otherwise. If you want to pamper you skin, you can get one time use packets of facial masks at almost any drug store. And girl, they feel AWESOME. Ever put cucumber slices on your eyes? wow. try it. I t looks weird, but TRUST ME. its awesome. hope I helped kEEp up the pretty.
1. ACNE!! mild but lowers my self esteem:/?
The only thing that worked for mine was Clean & Clear Continuous Acting Acne cleanser. It's available at Walmart for about $6. Use it first thing in the morning and before bed, and then use plain orange Dial Bar soap once in between- it has an antibacterial agent in it. If you follow this religiously, your skin will clear up. Mine was noticeably better within a week.
2. What color are your walls in your room?
the color of my walls are green and my theme is like a french boutique the walls are green and the trim is lite pink to set the mood i put a hanger candle in the midle of my room when i go to bed i use a original candle snuffer to put it out my perants treat me like a princess
3. Warm humidity or Cool vapor?
Either one will do the job. Your main goal is to increase the moisture, not the temperature. Having more moisture will allow you to remain warmer at a lower temperature. The COOL MIST does not make the room cooler, the mist just seems cool when it hits you. The WARM HUMIDIFIER will make the room slightly warmer, but in doing so, the way it adds heat is not as efficient as the central unit. So, I would lean to the COOL MIST first since you have both. Just do not place it too close to the bed. Run it for a while before you go to bed with the door shut and then open the door as needed to reduce humidity. Only one concern is I believe I remember something about the COOL MIST type being more susceptible to growing bacteria/mold in the unit if not cleaned properly. But, if you periodically wash with soap and water, you wo not have any problems.
4. What is the most memorable part of your pregnancy?
Being in the hospital for the last 2 1/2 months I was catered to and did not even have to get out of bed. I even had someone wipe my A** for me that's how good I had it...It was a scary time then but now I look back and laugh those poor nurses having to look at my fat a**. lol.
5. I have problems sleeping at night, should I take sleeping medication or try something else?
Before putting random chemicals into your system without knowing the full extent of the problem and the effects they could have, there are other simpler and less drastic things you can try: - Make sure that your bedroom is quite cool (around 18C is considered quite a good point), not too hot or stuffy or cold, and that it's well-ventilated. - Only use your bed for sleep. For example, many people lay in their bed using a laptop/whatever, and then find it difficult to sleep. You need to claim the bed as the place you sleep, not where you hang out. - Similar to the last point, do not use laptops, computers, tablets, mobile phones, watch TV, etc. just before you are going to try to sleep. Your brain identifies when it's time to sleep based on ambient light levels, and constantly staring at artificial light sources - like screens - may make you less tired. - Avoid foods high in sugar or caffeine before you go to bed, in fact, avoid eating at all. Stop eating a few hours before you are going to try to sleep. If you find your stomach growling, have some water, or warm milk. - Have a bath or a shower before you want to go to bed. Not only are they relaxing - particularly baths - but they heat up your body. When you get out of the bath or shower, the gradual cooling down of your body actually makes you sleepy. - Ensure that the lighting in your bedroom is soft and dim. This will help you to unwind. - Try reading something, maybe a book or a magazine (but nothing with a backlight - so nothing on a phone/tablet/laptop) when you are in bed, with a dim light, just before you are going to settle down. - Make sure your bedroom is as dark and as quiet as you can make it. Cover electrical displays on TVs/CD players etc., turn DVD players/games consoles etc. off completely so that they are not making a whirring sound. - Listen to some relaxing music in bed before going to sleep. And then, finally, when you do decide it's time to get some sleep, do not try too hard. Just lay back, get comfortable, close your eyes and relax - do not try to count sheep or concentrate on anything, just clear your mind and enjoy not having to do anything for hours and hours. You should doze off without even realising.
