Does Turning Your a/C Button (condenser) on While Heating Your Car, Make It Heat Faster?

Actually all answers are only partially correct. When you run your air conditioner, yes it will help defrost your windows faster because of the above mentioned reasons, but when your a/c is switched on the compressor which is driven by your belt puts an extra load on your engine making it work harder thus heating up the coolant faster. He is correct... It does not make a significant difference but it does heat up a bit faster.

1. Should I replace central AC unit or just coil or just condenser?

I have repaired many AC units just like yours and I tell the home owners the same thing because of moisture the system may die. But I still have units that I repaired like that still running 4 years later. Its better to let the home owner know why the system may break down and let them decide if they want a new unit or take a chance with their current system. If the Service tech adds a new filter drier and possibly a temporary suction line drier plus pulls a deep vacuum using a micron guage it will increase the chances that the moisture will be removed. Now if you decide to get a new condenser you should change the indoor coil too for 3 reasons. 1) A matching indoor coil will help with the seer rating and it will be more efficient 2) You most likely have a r-22 system and you might get a better price on a r-410 system plus r-22 systems are tough to find because of the new laws that took effect. 3) No manufacture I know will give you a warranty unless the condenser and indoor coil are not match and replaced together. I know money is tight and none of these options are really cheap. If this theft was done while the house was insured the home owners insurance really does pay for most of a new unit. Good Luck and I hope this helps.

2. A neighbor was trying to start his car last night, but couldn't. The starter sounded strong, but it just?

Keeping accelerator open feeds more air, for those times an engine may have 'flooded' with too much gas. It's OK. Looks like the ignition system is not sparking well enough to start. You do not say whether it is an older car with coil/breaker system (check the connections around distributor, replace condenser and points) or if it is electronic, with an ignition module (replace). In either case, pop off the air cleaner and spray some carb cleaner or starting fluid into the air intake as he hits the starter.. the results are instantaneous. If there is any spark at all, it will hit on the vapor drawn in. (Old-timers used 'white gas', known as camper fuel, for cold starts in freezing weather.) It is just naptha fluid with some ether added, in the most part. This will get him started fine, just does not fix the problem. Work on it, OK?

3. lennox hs18-211-9p condenser unit problems?

1-800-9-lennox Call customer support and give them the series, model #, and serial #. They should be able to locate a wiring diagram for you and either email you a link or mail you a copy. Even though the system has not ran in a year and you said "no weather got into the lines going to condenser" are you sure it was sealed off completely from ambient air? Moisture in the air will get into the system just by being open to ambient air even if rain does not directly drip into the piping. If possible I would recommend replacing the oil but on that small of a system I am guessing the compressor is hermetically sealed with no oil ports. The alternative is to run multiple vacuum pumps to remove as much moisture as possible. Per EPA requirements you need to achieve at least 800 microns for a sustained period of time. It would be worth the time to go ahead and call 3 or 4 local companies up and ask them to come out and quote not only a repair but also a unit replacement. Ultimately it's your choice on the route to go, if it was me though I would be ticked off if I put a lot of effort into getting this thing up and running and it craps out a few months later or even next year because it was open to the atmosphere for so long...

How Does a Condenser in an Air Conditioning System Make the Coolant Cold? How Does It Work?
Actually, the cold comes from the expansion of the condensed liquid through a valve or orifice. The hot gas, under pressure from the compressor, is turned into a liquid in the condenser at approximately ambient temperature. Then the liquid expands through the orifice into a lower pressure zone in the cooling coil, that is when the temperature drops. It takes energy to do the expansion and it absorbs it from the interior of your vehicle. Then the now hot gas goes back to the suction of the com presser and the process repeats1. We need a new central air conditioning unit. Which are best?trane?the have a good waranty i thought2. When air conditioning your house, what do you do with the ceiling fans?I always have a fans going counter clockwise in the winter and clockwise in the summer. You might need another unit for this much space3. Do the AC Condenser and Evaporator Coil Need to Be Replaced at the Same Time?
Excellent and correct answer Brian1. Feasibility of replacing cracked AC condenser fan bladesThe condensing coil is the part the fan draws air through. look close if some fins are a little bent that will reduce the efficiency but it will still work with a new fan. Fans are easy a set screw holds the shaft or a hex nut make sure to get the same pitch and diameter they can be turned over to change air flow direction.2. why dose my car keep over heating, i changed the radiator,AC condenser, and thermostat, but still getting hot ?it could have an air bubble in the system, the heater core could be pluged3. Home AC condenser failure?at best the homeowners policy will pay for the scrap metal value,,,if even that. the new ones cost is going to be on you4. What is the 1.5-tonne window AC condenser price of Voltas? You need to check the manufacturer tag for the wattage rating, or if it only shows volts and amperage you can multiply the volts times the amps to get the watt rating. for example 240 volts and 10 amps = 240 X 10 = 2400 watts. When you have the watts per hour. you can then check your power bill to see how much you are charged. for example 0. 11 cents per kilowatt hour. so for every hour that you use 1000 watts you pay 0.11 cents. in our example you would have to divide 2400 watts by 1000 which equals 2.4 kilowatts . Then you multiply 2.4 X 0.11 = 0.264 which rounds to $0.26 cents for every hour that you run this equipment.... Just plug in your actual values to get your answer and multiply by the number of hours that you will run the equipment. What is the 1.5-tonne window AC condenser price of Voltas?5. How do you replace the ac condenser on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Sport?first you have to have a a/c suction machine to suck out the fluid. if you dont have one then dont attempt. youll screw up your a/c system. take it to your local dealership6. What is an ac condenser and how much does one cost?a/c condenser is located in front of the radiator (and kind of looks like a radiator too). Through the use of cool air flow provided by the engine fan, the condensor cools the hot gas and converts it to liquid.com)7. How do I keep my new central AC condenser from blowing fuses? It sounds like they have no idea. The wire to the condensing unit is too small. It probably burned off wire connections inside the unit maybe even in the compressor terminal box. Anyone who justs puts 4 lbs of refrigerant in and leaves is a fool. The dealer who installed the system should pay for all repairs to the unit. To check out his work, Click on the installation page and it will give you a guide to quality work.8. what is a good price to get your AC condenser recharged for your car?Our dealership charges about $75, but if you need it recharged you may have a leak somewhere. A common misconception is that the refridgerant gets "used up" when you use your A/C, but it does not it gets recycled. No system is perfect and in all reality you will lose freon at seals and fittings etc. but if you have to get it charged every year for example then you have a problem9. What o-rings are needed for my AC condenser? The o rings are pretty specific and I have seen them available at auto one and other shops of that nature. The ones that I have seen are green in color for what it is worth10. what do you call the metal cover on the wall or ceiling that goes to the AC Condenser? With something that big it is probably a return air grill and the home stores wo not likely have it in that size. Try a plumbing supply house and if they do not carry them, ask where you CAN get them. Any A/C repairman in your area will also know where to get new ones, and another possibility is to have the one you already have sandblasted and re-painted. You might also be able to wire brush it well enough yourself, then use a rusty metal primer and whatever color spray paint suits your fancy. Al
Is It Bad If My Evaporator Coils and Condenser Coils Dont Match? Cool Today
manufacturers purposely design both sets of coils to work in tandem to remove heat and moisture from your home. • your evaporator coils absorb heat from the air inside your home • the heat travels along refrigerant lines until it reaches the condenser coils • the condenser coils dump the heat into the outdoor airWhat are the best type of outdoor plant for the desert? It gave a beautiful finish (brought out all the natural colors), and looked great for the whole summer. But by the next year it needed doing again, which I will be doing soon. It's cheap deck furniture, so I do not mind if it degrades a little while I pretend it does not yet need to be retreated. Personally, I would not do that with window/door trim.IIRC, I mixed it with turpentine, which I believe helps it soak into the wood.Elsewhere on my house I am testing a toner product called Penofin, on some redwood. That's holding up great so far, and I am expecting to only have to re-apply it every few years. It's a lot of fun for them and even though it was about 5 years ago I still see at least one person buying it when I go to the mall. Personally I think it's somewhat expensive but it's a lot of fun for the little ones which makes it totally worth it. :).How can I eliminate these outdoor ant colonies?feed them corn meal or stuff black pepper down their nest regularly until they move away somewhere else. corn meal will expand in their stomach after they digest it and they will dieI need an outdoor snake repellent that really works, any ideas out there?Snake DeterrentI am keeping my outdoor pregnant cat inside, but she keeps howling at the door. am i being unhumane? It's called 'tough love'. She needs to be kept indoors, and indoors only until those kittens are born, and she is spayed. She is no different than a human toddler who would like to do things that are not in her best interest. Of course she wants to go out, and she's going to tell you so, but ignore her and keep her in. By letting her out, the kittens are going to be born outside, and at risk for being eaten by predators. If she gets hit by a car while nursing that litter, you will be raising a litter of orphan kittens. The day that her kittens are born, call the vet and make a spay appointment for 8 weeks from that day. Vets get booked solid this time of year, and this way her appointment will be all ready and waiting for her when the kittens are weaned at 8 weeks. Mom will go back into heat and will get pregnant again even while nursing her litter, and back to back litters like that are not healthy for mom nor her kittens, not to mention that there are over 4 Million cats and kittens put to death each year in the US as there are way more cats and kittens than there are homes for them - do not contribute to that. The right and humane thing to do is to keep her indoors, and then get her spayed.
FAQ: Condenser Vs Dynamic Microphones - What's the Difference? | Red Dog Music Blog
Microphones are pretty important things to have on the stage or in the studio. There are plenty of types from which to choose but, basically, there are two main flavours. Time to take a quick look at condenser vs dynamic microphones! The job of a microphone is to turn one type of energy into another. This makes microphones a type of transducer. In this case, a microphone converts the energy of the moving air into electrical energy, that can be amplified, processed, recorded, vocoded and anything else you want to do it. The way they go about converting the lyrics of your latest math/folk emo ballad into an electrical signal is quite straightforward, and leads us onto the main difference between dynamic and condenser microphones. With a coil of wire and a magnet. A dynamic microphone works like a loudspeaker in reverse. A diaphragm is moved by the air movements and moves a coil of wire inside a magnetic field. This generates the current that is then amplified by your microphone preamplifier. This design means that dynamic microphones are not the most sensitive of microphones, as those air movements have to move a heavy coil of wire about. Also, dynamic microphones are not as sensitive to the higher frequencies. On the plus side, this design of microphone is relatively inexpensive and durable. Dynamic microphones are much less delicate than most condenser models, so are ideally suited to live use and situations where they can get hit by drumsticks. Dynamic mics are also good at coping with loud sources, hence the old standby of putting a Shure SM57 in front of a guitar cabinet! Condenser microphones work using the electrical principle of capacitance. For this reason, condenser microphones are also known as capacitor mics. Instead of attaching a heavy metal coil to the diaphragm, a condenser microphone places the diaphragm a small distance away from a fixed plate to form an electrical capacitor. As the diaphragm moves in response to the air pressure changes, the distance between the diaphragm and the back plate changes, changing the capacitance and leading to a change in voltage across the diaphragm and the back plate. As the capacitor system needs a 'plate voltage' across it, condenser microphones require phantom power. This is usually 48V and is supplied by the microphone preamplifier. The phantom power also powers other parts of the microphone electronics that are required in condenser microphones. This type of design is more delicate than the construction of dynamic microphones, and the greater number of components makes condenser microphones more expensive than dynamic models. However, the fact that the diaphragm is not moving a large amount of metal about makes condenser microphones more sensitive than dynamic mics, and they also offer a better response at higher frequencies. These attributes make condenser microphones great for the majority of studio tasks. In particular, the design of condenser microphone capsules means that some condenser microphones are engineered to offer different polar patterns- being able to pick up sound more or less selectively from different directions. All that said though, there is an ever-increasing choice of condenser microphones designed for live use, for people who want the sensitivity and frequency response of a condenser microphone, with the rugged reliability of a dynamic. If you just want one microphone for the studio, a large diaphragm condenser is the most versatile. Vocals, acoustic guitars, amplifiers, percussion, a condenser mic will do the job. If you want a mics for the stage, dynamics remain the go-to choice. Shure SM58 for the vocals, SM57 for the amps and the snare, AKG D112 on the kick drum… Condensers are generally used as drum overheads - to catch those high frequencies - but they are generally far out of the way of flailing sticks! And we still have ribbon mics to cover, but that's for another day! Red Dog Music is the UK's friendliest musical instrument and pro-audio dealer. The Mechanism and Functioning of a Condenser Microphone
What is a condenser microphone? This is the microphone where a capacitor is used; so, it is also known as capacitor microphone. All the microphones work on the same principle of a diaphragm receiving the sound or music and converting it into electrical signals. The diaphragm, in the case of condenser microphones, is positioned in a way where it acts as a capacitor and the distance between the plates is changed by the generated vibrations. An electronic transducer is formed which is used for music creation. The audio, which is encoded in this form of transducers, can be extracted. Two different methods are used for this purpose. One is known as the DC based and the other one is known as RF or HF condenser microphones. The condenser microphone needs power from a battery or any external power source. The audio signal that is extracted is stronger than that obtained by any dynamic process. The signal is also more likely to be more sensitive and receptive than dynamics.External power source is provided with the professional microphones to suit the needs of the buyers. For useful output, power is one requirement that cannot be overlooked. In addition, the condenser microphone functions with two diaphragms. This type of microphone is much suitable in picking up feeble and distinct sound in and around it. For noisy works, however, they are not the favorites because of their over sensitiveness. The plates of a DC based microphone are powered by a set charge; so, when vibrations occur, the voltage also changes. A mathematical equation is used to calculate it.When the distance of a capacitor microphone changes, the capacitor charge also varies a little bit. For this reason, a constant charge is maintained for the capacitor. Maintaining the time frame of the change in the capacitance, the voltage regulating is instantaneous. It shows the alteration that has occurred in the capacitance. The series resistor then shows the voltage variation between the bias and the capacitor.RF condenser microphone is just the opposite of the DC biased condenser microphone. RF microphones use a low RF voltage built up by a low noise oscillator. Frequency modulation produced by the sound waves is the guide force behind the movement of the oscillator. The demodulation results in a very low source obstacle. It also produces low sound audio frequency signal. The RF biased condensers are used in damp conditions also.Condenser microphone is used to make a number of appliances. It is capable of producing good quality music signals. It is also very popular in the field of studio recordings and laboratories.
Can I Check My Ac Condenser at Home?
your engine is too tired from moving this gas guzzler to pull the fan, too . time to junk it and get a car with decent MPG1. Does New Central AC Condenser Unit=New Coils? The reason they say that you need to replace the evaporator coil when you replace the condensing unit is that the evaporator coil is probably rated at 10 seer... Since 2004 the Department of Energy, stipulated that all new production of hvac products have to meet a critiria of 13 seer or better... You can no longer purchase 10 seer condensers, and a 13 seer condenser will not work on a 10 seer coil. .. So the answer is yes, you need to replace the coil when you replace the condenser... Now as for the pricing, i am not sure where you live, or what size unit you need, but that sounds a little high for just a changeout... I live in Kansas and been in the hvac business for over 20 yrs. .. I would say $3000 would be the average for my part of the country2. How do I keep my new central AC condenser from blowing fuses? If you just had it installed , call them back3. I have a carrier ac condenser model number 24acb342a300 please can you tell me what ton is this unit? it takes 208/230voltage?Cars & Transportation > Maintenance & Repairs Your in the wrong category4. How much does it cost to replace an AC condenser for my 800 sq. ft. home? For a proper functioning system with a full manufacturer's warranty, you will have to replace both the condenser and at a minimum the indoor coil. In order to benefit from the higher efficiency systems available today you should also replace your furnace or air handler also. A complete new AHRI rated system will achieve higher efficiency that any mismatched system. Many factors determine the actual cost of these repairs to your home; the location of the equipment to be replaced, the brand of equipment to be installed, code and permitting requirements specific to your location, and the seasonal work load of qualified HVAC mechanics in your area. Generally though a cost of $2,500 to $ 5,000 would be expected for a coil and condenser unit in a 800 square foot home in a major metropolitan area on the east coast of the United States. How much does it cost to replace an AC condenser for my 800 sq. ft. home?.5. Tips On AC Condenser Installation - Can I Do This Myself? - LA Construction Heating and AirAs a homeowner, it's beneficial to at least be a little bit handy around the house. Being able to repair some basic stuff is going to save you a bunch of money in the long run. When the toilet is overflowing in the middle of the night, and there's no landlord to call, it's great if you can determine the next step on your own, rather than calling a plumber to come on an emergency call, which could bill at double the normal rate. However, there are some jobs around the house that you simply should not do yourself. Like it or not, some jobs just require the touch of a professional. If you've never worked with electricity, you are probably not the right person to re-wire the ceiling fan. It might not be a bad idea to calla contractor to install a new dishwasher. And if your central air conditioner condenser needs to be replaced, well, that's probably a call for the professionals as well. However, if you insist on installing your air conditioner condenser yourself, here are some tips: You will need to open a charge account at your nearest hardware store or big box home supply store. Replacing the condenser on a central air conditioner requires specialty tools like a vacuum pump, an amperage meter, and refrigerant gauges. When you remove the old condenser, do not cut the refrigerant lines until you are ready to install the new one. Moisture build upon the refrigerant lines can lead to another malfunction. You may need to install new line when you put the new condenser in, so make sure that you have enough of that to do the job. You will need to have a refrigerant recovery system in place when you do cut the lines. If you just let the refrigerant vent out into the air, you will be violating the clean air act of 1995. Fines for that can run in the tens of thousands of dollars, for a first offense. If you had to put new refrigerant line in, you will need to test them for leaks before you actually finish the installation. Fill them with an inert gas, pressurize them, and let them sit for an hour. If the pressure drops, you will need to determine if there is a leak by coating the lines with soapy water and looking for bubbles. Once you get the condenser in, you need to charge the lines with refrigerant. It may seem tempting to replace the old R-22 refrigerant that your system was likely using, with the new, chlorine free 410-A refrigerant, however, even with a full line replacement, you cannot just put the new refrigerant in. If you want to use the cleaner refrigerant, you will need a whole new cooling system. There is currently no method in place to retrofit an older system to the newer coolant. All in all, even though a professional ac condenser installation can be pretty expensive, buying all of the tools and equipment that you will need to do this job yourself is going to be more expensive-especially if you mistakenly discharge some of the refrigerant when you clear the refrigerant lines. Paying a professional air conditioning contractor means that the job is done correctly, in a reasonable amount of time, without risk of breaking the law and getting a fine! Why Does My Indoor Unit Not Shut Off but the Condenser Does?
it never shuts off, or it just runs a little bit longer? it should run a few seconds longer in cool mode. if it's continuously running, it's either in fan mode, not auto, or you have a stuck fan relay. check your t-stat settings for cool/auto mode and not cool/fan mode.1. HVAC split system, condenser unit not working but furnace still blows hot air?Replace the Run capacitor and then take an Amp draw on the Compressor and make sure it is running at RLA ...or Run load Amps. If you have a Conventional AC System The Condenser never runs in heat Mode Just in Cooling. ON a heat pump system the Condenser will run In heat mode unless the temp Drops too cold outside.. around 42 to 45 Degrees the Condenser will stop and bring on the emergency and Auxiliary heat.. The Emergency heat will shut off When Temp is within 3 to 5 Degrees of the Thermostat Setting. . you should not have any heat if the Thermostat is not set to heat and the Fan Should not be running unless the fan switch is set from auto to on it is safe to run heat Without the Condenser in a heat pump System you are defeating the Purpose of a heat pump Depending on the brand of heat pump Some of the Switching valves are Energized in Cooling and some they are not .. SO it is possible if your reversing valve in your Condenser Stuck in heat Mode Then it will Blow heat out of the registers even if you have it set to Cooling The freon is flowing in the wrong Direction for Cooling2. Can I mic my whole drum set for recording with one large diaphram condenser mic?Hello, I am a drummer and i have a recording studio, and as far as condenser microphone you can go for it. I use 2 ATM31a voice microphones to record my drum and percussion recordings, very good and it gives a good sound to be remixed. These microphones are cardioid (unidirectional)3. If the condenser is punctured in my 2003 Camry, would the air still be cold?My bogometer (measures bogusness, you know) is reading pretty high on this one. Any hole in the condenser will cause the refrigerant to disappear within a couple of days at best, and doing anything with the relay would not bring it back. So, the dealer is out of the picture. This is a job for an A/C professional, who can probably fix it for less than $775. I do not know what is wrong so I can not guarantee it.4. New A/C condenser, what next to get some cold air?No they have 2 vacuum it down to get the air out & 2 see if it holds vacuum. If it does then they can charge it. About $100 r less depending on ur area5. What is a condenser in a car and what does it do?This Site Might Help You. RE: What is a condenser in a car and what does it do? I have heard about a part inside the engine compartment in a car called a condenser, which is next to the radiator. What does it do, and can it be removed? My radiator and I assume condenser also is bent, and I am planning on replacing the radiator, but I don't know if I need a condenser as...6. help with condenser of central ac unit?OK,....first thing's first: NEVER,EVER,EVER let your neighbor come "fiddle" with your $6K HVAC unit. -or go banging away on it! GAWD! The power surge heated up the magnetic overload inside your compressor. It was trying to shut down but it kept running because it was trying to also cool itself. (the system is designed that way) The small box by the condenser unit is a disconnect just for the condenser unit. For future reference: If you must shut it down, do so only at the outside disconnect. (you can shut down the inside at the thermostat) The compressor has a protection device that, if the electric is interrupted then restored, then interrupted again within, say,....2 minutes it shuts down for around 45 minutes. The power surge almost tripped that "soft lockout".
Do I Really Need 10 AWG Wire for a AC Condenser That Says 15 AMP Max?
Typically in an ideal situation I would use the next size up breaker and size the wire accordingly. Then at the disconnect use the size fuse required by the unit. The fuses are slow blow so they wo not pop with the high startup current but the breakers blow quickly. Doing it this way tends to have fewer nuisance trips. Wiring everything for 15 amps would be perfectly acceptable and realistically should not have any problems. The important thing is to have something that will trip at 15 amps to avoid damage to the air conditioner.1. In an accident my car's AC condenser slightly damaged but AC is running fine. Can i change condenser? Is your vehicle is still street worthy and legal, for example all lamps are operational? If the A/C still works and the condenser is damaged and bent, this means there is no puncture is present. Make sure the condenser cooling fan still works, as it is needed for proper operation. Leave the current part alone for now. If you are considering repairing your car and have insurance, I would have everything repaired accordingly.2. AC condenser fan sometimes sporadically stays off?He put the wrong value capacitor in the unit, and the fan motor really should have been replaced THAT DAY.... I would be surprised if the compressor is worth the powder & shot it would take to blow it to kingdom come..... -if it still runs, it's on borrowed time.3. What is an ac condenser and how much does one cost?It is the thin radiator in front of the main engine coolant radiator. The air conditioning (cool air) system depends upon it to work. Other than that, it has no effect on the rest of the cars' performance. What would it cost to "Have It" replaced? An arm and a leg! Not to worry. This is an easy do it yourself job, and a good used from a wrecking yard condenser costs only about $40. You just need to pay attention to safety instructions in a repair manual about de-pressurizing the system before you remove it. If this item is the only problem with the car, and it is giving you a large discount on the selling price; then I would say you should definitely go for it. Just make sure you get a good reliable check out of the condition of the car first4. My AC condenser turns off sometimes, and turns off the breaker halfway.?The breaker handle in the halfway spot just indicates that the breaker has tripped. This is completely normal and standard behavior, and you reset it by flipping it off then back on just like you did. I am pretty sure they do this so that you can distinguish a breaker in the 'off' state vs a breaker in the 'tripped' state. I am confused as to why the electrician even changed your breaker, it seems that it was working fine (breakers are supposed to trip due to overcurrent, and yours was indeed tripping as expected). Did he say why he changed the breaker? From an electrical perspective - what is definitely happening is your circuit amperage is exceeding 30A and tripping your breaker. This could either be that the AC is drawing more than 30A for some reason, or it could be a direct short circuit somewhere in the electrical wiring (even possibly within the AC). If the circuit only trips when the AC is ON then that really suggests that the AC contains the problem.5. My AC condenser turns off sometimes, and turns off the breaker halfway.?From my experience in the field, I believe you may have a wiring problem or an air flow problem. The wiring problem would be fairly easy to find. Open all areas that have electrical and check for loose or burnt up wiring. If your indoor system has an air flow problem, the lack of air flow would cause flood back. If your system is flooding back hard, your compressor will overload and possibly pop the breaker. Flood back is when liquid refrigerant enters the inlet of the compressor. Since compressors only pump gas, it would over amp. Make sure your filters are changed often. If you do not have a filter this where your problem is. Call back that HVAC tech and tell him to check air flow. Also ask him for Superheat and Subcool readings, the tech should know exactly what is wrong by measuring Superheat and Subcooling =). Oh and what is the model of the indoor unit? Units could be mismatched. You could also have a restriction in the expansion valve causing high head pressure to the point of over amping.
Location of the Ac Condenser, Ford?
The condensor is always in front of the radiator on all vehicles and they look like one too. You are probably talking about the evaporator inside the dash but that hissing sound is the pressure balancing at the orifice tube after you turn it off its perfectly normal I have a Windstar and it does the same thing1. How do I replace the AC Condenser on a 1998 Cavalier? You can not buy the refrigerant without a license and you dont have the equipment. Take it to a shop
My Home a/C Unit Condenser Is Not Running... How Do I Fix This?
It goes straight from the breaker to the condenser check the fuse box and the breaker panel. The breaker may need to be replaced. If there is no breaker in your panel for the ac unit then you need to call in an electrician as there is probably some kind of code violation involved1. My outside condenser for my split isn't working properly?By stopping,do you mean tripping the breaker or just stopping? If the breaker is tripping it may be drawing to much electricity and would indicate a bad compressor motor maybe. If not, check all your thermostat wiring and the thermostat itself. Good luck2. I just had my cars radiator and A/C Condenser replaced and now it is making a bubbling sound?you need to get a new car because the car you drives is busted3. How much would it cost to replace the AC relay converter in a 94 Mitsubishi Eclipse? There is no AC relay converter. The system does have relays. If it's the AC condenser located in front of the radiator you are looking at $250 in parts and $150 labor. They may also get another $100 to charge the system with 134a after installing it.4. My AT4040 condenser mic isn't recognized...?your AT4040 mic requires 48 volts of phantom power, something that your Lightsnake does not provide. The Lightsnake is designed to work with a dynamic type mic, not a condenser. So either get a different mic, or get a phantom power cable adapter.5. Looking for a New USB Condenser Mic.?You are probably better off going with the Audio Technica based upon AT's history of creating quality equipment. I personally have not worked with BLUE microphones, so I cannot give a personal comparison between the two. That said, from my own studio experience, Audio Technica has always delivered quality performance and is generally a brand name that can be trusted. Though that particular BLUE condenser has plenty of good reviews on Amazon.com, they are easily matched with good reviews on other sites, including GuitarCenter.com. So when in doubt, I gravitate towards a brand I trust. But if price is also a weighing factor, you can get the BLUE mic new on Amazon at half the sale price on GuitarCenter.com. But again, I tend to gravitate towards quality and a brand I can trust.6. Honda A/C Condenser - Insurance?I work for a car dealership and I have seen this happen quite a few times. I guess a pebble must be flying at some velocity to crack your windshield..... one in a billion. BTW if you go through your insurance you just pay your deductible. Depending on your insurance coverage would determine the part they put in your vehicle. meaning original part or aftermarket parts. I quoted out a condenser today.... $1000 by the way, with labor. Part alone cost $7947. Question about what happened to my a/c?You may quite possibly have a full charge of r134a in your system. The air condition may be working properly. Many things can affect the duct temperature. You can check that your clutch fan is operating properly, check for leaves or any thing built up between the radiator and condenser, blocking air flow. Also, check the condenser fins. They are very fragile and alot of highway driving can actually bend the fins and block airflow through the condenser. Check that your engine is not running slightly hot. Check the operation of your thermostat. On that van I have no clue where the cabin air filter is. Autozone or Advance or Pepboys should have a duct thermometer8. Should I use a Condenser or Dynamic microphone for singing?A dynamic mic pill is a coil of cord suspended on the point of a magnet. The coil has a diaphragm which receives hit with the help of shifting air. This causes the coil to bypass on its suspension. because it really is contained in the container of the encompassing magnet, this induces a contemporary into the coil, which turns into the electric powered signal despatched down your XLR lead on your preamp.A condenser works quite in yet differently, and is somewhat more desirable complicated, so it is my simplified version. A capacitor is an electric powered element which could briefly 'shop' charge. There are 2 factors - a inflexible decrease back-plate and a versatile membrane (the diaphragm). they are separated with the help of a resistor, to that end air, and a voltage is utilized for the length of them, which to that end is a 48V Phantom ability furnish. The 'capacitance' (how a lot it would want to shop) adjustments even as the diaphragm strikes and so the quantity of air between it and the decrease back-plate adjustments. The diaphragm is moved, for sure, with the help of the incoming sound waves brought about with the help of your vocalist or device. The adjustments in capacitance genuinely develop into the electric powered signal despatched on your preamp
