I Will Be in Bed, Trying to Sleep, then Hear a Static Noise, and Forget About What I Am Thinking Abo

I am curious about the static! I am wondering if fabric softener is being used on the bedding (in particular pillowcases). If it is not then the static will be from a reaction between your hair and the fabric. As simple as that. If fabric softener is being used then that could be a completely different scenario. Indeed I would consider the paranormal. btw I think you forget what you are thinking about cos you are focusing on the static. Hope this helps. Best wishes. UK

1. How do you remove very old wallpaper?

Uggg...we just helped a friend do this in her Mom's old house that had LAYERS of paper. A wallpaper steamer is the best. And the scraper tool available for wallpaper. We tried vinegar water, fabric softener and water. ..the steamer worked the best and was not too expensive. Good luck!

2. How can I get really greasy dirty coveralls clean without trashing my washing machine?

An easier and less harsh way to cut the grease on the coveralls would be to add 1/2-1 cup baking soda to the wash cycle and 1 cup white vinegar to the rinse. The vinegar is a softener so there is no need to use fabric softener. The two will clean, deodorize and break down the grease. If you happen to notice a bit of funk left in the washer, grab your orange hand cleaner/degreaser. It is safe, gentle and very fast to remove grease and wo not leave a funky residue of its own like comet

3. How do I make my clothes look as good as they do when they are dry cleaned?

Fabric softener works to soft them and some have chemicals help make ironing easy others just leave a nice perfume smell with softenes

4. What kind of laundry detergent is best for a newborn?

We used Tide free, Cheer free, etc. Just make sure it's perfume and dye free. No need to spend a gad-zillion dollars on the "baby detergent." It's roughly twice the price of the regular brands, and the regular "free" brands are just as good. You should not use fabric softener on baby/children clothing because it does away with their fire retardant protection.

5. How can I remove an odor from a duvet cover. It was packaged in plastic. Washed it 3 times. Still smells nasty?

Whenever you have odors, baking soda works perfectly. But that seems to make things stiff sometimes, so use fabric softener with your detergent when you wash. Then when you dry, use a dryer sheet to soften and make it smell better as well. I think snuggle or downy or Gain have the best smelling detergent and dryer sheets. Good luck!

6. How to Wash your Woollen Shawls

A cosy woollen shawl is a wardrobe essential during winter. Loosely wrap it around your shoulders, and you are good to go. But dirt and dust can get stuck in the fabric and you need to wash the shawl to keep it clean. However, you need to be careful while cleaning or washing your delicate woollen shawl. Hand-wash or machine-wash your woollen shawls by following our easy cleaning process. To remove the remaining water, lay a clean towel on a flat surface and spread your shawl on it. Wrap it, wait for 5 minutes, and then unwrap it. Now lay another clean towel on a flat surface and place the shawl on it. Let it air-dry. Take a bucket of lukewarm water, add 2 tsp. of mild laundry detergent and soak your shawl in this solution for 5 minutes. Fill your washer with lukewarm water, drop your woollen shawl in it and run a gentle wash cycle. If you have a wool setting in your washing machine, use it. You can also add 1 tsp. of fabric softener to the wash cycle to avoid friction. This will also make your woollen shawls smell fresh. When the cycle is complete, take out the shawl and wrap it in a clean towel. This will soak the water.

7. How to make new comforter and pillowcases softer?

If they are machine washable you need to wash them, preferably in warm water if it's light in color. Run the rinse cycle twice with plenty of fabric softener. The more you wash it, the softer it will get.

24 VDC Control Using Arduino
24 VDC Control Using Arduino
If the input impedance of the PLC/controller is fairly high, you could get away with pullups and low-side transistors for inputs (to the PLC), and run outputs through a voltage divider. Analog inputs would be a little more complex, but a basic op-amp should work fine for that unless you need high BW signals.I don't know of a shield for this, but if you only need a couple you could get one of the stripboard/breadboard type shields and bang them out.I would like to use a Arduino as "simulator" in a training class. It would connect to an industrial controller that has 24 VDC inputs and outputs. The Arduino program would simulate the IO from a production line (sensor inputs and motor controls for example)Is there a shield which can interface with 24 VDC IO? I know I could use separate relays, but I want to see if there is a better solution.I could use 12 VDC instead of 24, but nothing lower.I am considering the Arduino as cost is factor. So I want to keep the component count and price as low as I can..OTHER ANSWER:I would like to use a Arduino as "simulator" in a training class. How Can My Son Start now to Build a Portfolio to Get into a Good Art School? He Is 15.?
How can my son start now to build a portfolio to get into a good art school? He is 15.?Save all of his best work and preserve it well. You can buy a professional portfolio (used to display your work) at a good art supply store. You might just save all of it. Keep a record of shows and displays he has taken part in, including dates, the promoter, etc. If he sells anything keep records, including names of collectors with addresses, etc. Good luck— — — — — —has any one ever seen the movies; the wackness, brick, igby goes down, party monster or art school conadential? From the list you mention I have only seen two: Igby goes down and Art School Confidential. Both movies were great!— — — — — —what is best to form or a martial art school out of your home a LLC ?You may as well operate as a sole propietor since you are doing it in your home. Becoming a Limited Liability Corp will not do anything for you except give a few tax breaks. The purpose of forming an LLC is to protect your personal assets if you are every sued or have to file for Chapter 11 or 13. If your business is operated out of your home no matter what compant formation you take you will lose it if you are ever sued. Also if your home is not zoned correctly and you file for an LLC you will be denied as well as shut down by your local city. To operate a business of this nature out of your home your residence has to be zoned as residential/commercial or it is actually illegal to do so.— — — — — —Do I have potential as an artist, and how do I sell art?Hello, I think your work is pretty good. Your measurement (drawing proportions) is pretty good, and you are definitely getting to the point where you could be able to sell work, but I suggest practicing a lot more to obtain a skill level that could compete with professionals, or those who actually do sell their artwork for a living. Selling art is hard enough as is. If your work lacks technical proficiency and if it does not look professional enough, most people are not going to buy anything. That's not to say that everything you sell has to look extremely detailed and showcase all your technical skills. Basically though, since art skills translate across the board to all styles of drawing (stylistic, realistic, abstract etc.) your work, regardless of the limit of scope in a particular style, should adequately showcase your ability in the related fundamentals. Like for example, if you are doing something abstract and playing with color, the color choice could be chosen according to a good knowledge of color theory. What I see in your work is a taste that is still being developed. And the technical skill could be amped up as well. The reason I say this is because your work does not identify as your own unique style quite yet. The watercolor dripping thing is a very common art idea that for some reason everyone loves. xD The celebrity pencil drawings also do not seem to identify as uniquely created either. Originality does not actually exist, but it would serve you well to find out about the common "cliches" so to speak that artists employ a lot and then try to do something different. If you like the idea, you could take an element from it, But if a common idea is used a lot, your work will never become very distinguishable from the masses' unless there is some sort of twist that you personally put on things you see and learn about. Originality counts a lot for sales, so its very relevant just as well. Think about it, you only really buy things if they compel you (either through originality or some other stand-out factor) right? This is manifold more important for art just because art is just not a necessity for a lot of people I would suggest trying pencil drawing without any smearing (so try to build up graduation and smoothness with pencil only) and try some other mediums besides pencil and watercolor as well. (Like pen, pastels, paints, etc.) If the work on your DA account is representative of your work as a whole, I would suggest widening your perspective, you know what I mean? Go see the work other people are doing and see if you like anything better than the type of work you do now. Anything counts, the goal here is to find out about all of the other possibilities for artwork as well. I feel as if you are boxed in right now. That may not be an accurate judgement, but looking at interesting work is fun anyway. xD I also suggest doing some research on what type of artwork actually sells. Usually the people who are commissioned already have an established fan base that is eager to buy art from them. Or they could be professionals who went to art school or not and gained a high enough level of competency and vision that their work sold. It's not the easiest thing. lol I really suggest not focusing on selling your art at this stage and instead improving your artwork. If your artwork is good enough, people would willingly buy it. But now is not the time, unless you have some sort of an audience of friends or family who would buy your work. Entrancing strangers with your creative ingenuity is a whole 'nother monster though. xD
Very Briefly: the Threat of Ocean Plastic Pollution
Very Briefly: the Threat of Ocean Plastic Pollution
Since 1950, plastic has revolutionized numerous aspects of modern society: packaging, clothing, disposable bags, electronic products, medical instruments, industrial materials, among many. Plastic is found everywhere in our daily lives. This new material, as malleable as stainless, quickly became indispensable for our time.Attractive and practical, plastic sees its global production increase exponentially to reach the staggering figures of more than 320 million tons (Mt) of plastic produced in 2017. At this rate, production will reach 622 Mt by 2034. In other words, within 15 years, the same amount of plastic will be produced as has been accumulated since 1950.It is estimated that 8,300 Mt of virgin plastic have been produced to date, generating about 6,300 Mt of plastic waste, of which about 9% has been recycled, 12% incinerated and 79% accumulated in landfills or released into the environment. If current trends in waste generation and management continue, 12,000 Mt of plastic waste will not be recycled or treated by 2050^1. As for packaging, more than 80% will never be recovered. The oceans, which are at the heart of the regulation of many land cycles, are particularly affected by this pollution. Indeed, once abandoned, plastics flow through rivers and other watercourses to the mouths of the seas. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) estimates that more than 9 Mt of plastics are dumped into the oceans each year^2, the equivalent of one garbage truck per minute. To date, the twenty most polluted rivers, in terms of plastic pollution, are mainly in Asia and generate a significant share of global marine pollution^3.Faced with this worrying reality, several scientific programs, foundations and citizen actions are taking an interest in the issue and are working to find solutions. However, the understanding of the extent of this insidious pollution and its multiple implications on living organisms has yet to be discovered^4.Once in the oceans, plastic debris is carried away from the coast by currents. It would then be easy to believe that they would disappear. In the early 2000s, the American navigator Charles Moore discovered, in the middle of the Pacific, what he called "the plastic continent". Collected by marine currents, waste accumulates in the heart of the oceans to form, what has been wrongly called, "the seventh continent"^5 .The image of a new land, composed only of huge floating debris, does not reflect the disastrous reality of the terrain. Once at sea, plastics degrade under the influence of waves, salt and sun to become particles called microplastics. The latter are present from the surface to the depths of the oceans, infiltrating the food chain. There are five areas with a high concentration of plastics: North and South Atlantic, Indian Ocean, North and South Pacific. But plastic pollution is not limited to these gigantic clusters. According to a study published in July 2016 by the University of Cadiz, Spain, 88% of the ocean surface is contaminated by plastic debris^6.Far from polluting only the coasts, where they are produced, plastics criss-cross our oceans and have an equal impact on the most remote islands. In April 2017, scientists discovered the highest density of plastics ever observed on the beaches of an uninhabited and totally isolated island in the South Pacific; the infamous island of Henderson has more than 671 plastic debris per square meter of beach. A total of 38 million plastic debris buried in the island's sand.Pervasive, microscopic and long-lasting, plastic debris have insidiously spread over the oceans, polluting all seas and coasts. Far from inoffensive, plastic debris are a real threat to all marine ecosystems, from plankton to whales, a clear and present danger.References^1 "Plastic waste is now so ubiquitous in the environment that it has been suggested as a geological indicator of the proposed Anthropocene era" Production, use, and fate of all plastics ever made, Science Advances, July 2017.^2 "Microplastics are not visible. While potential negative impacts are less obvious, their release into the oceans may also have far reaching consequences. Human health concerns are suspected through the accumulation of microplastics in the food chain and/or sorption of toxicants to plastic while traveling through the environment." Primary Microplastics in the Oceans: a Global Evaluation of Sources, IUCN, January2017.^3 "We estimate that between 1.15 and 2.41 million tons of plastic waste currently enters the ocean every year from rivers, with over 74% of emissions occurring between May and October. The top 20 polluting rivers, mostly located in Asia, account for 67% of the global total." River plastic emissions to the world's oceans, Nature Communications, June 2017.^4 "Because of its longevity, ubiquity, and sheer volume, plastic debris is now emerging as a new, truly global challenge. It is estimated that some plastic products retain their original recognizable form 400 years after discharge into the ocean." Stemming the tide : land-based strategies for a plastic free ocean, McKinsey Center for Business & Environment, September 2015.^5 "Since the introduction of plastic materials in the 1950s, the global production of plastic has increased rapidly and will continue in the coming decades. However, the abundance and the distribution of plastic debris in the open ocean are still unknown, despite evidence of affects on organisms ranging from small invertebrates to whales." Plastics debris in the open ocean, PNAS, August 2014.^6 "We provide a comprehensive analysis of the quantity and source of beach-washed plastic debris on one of the world's remotest islands. The density of debris was the highest recorded anywhere in the world, suggesting that remote islands close to oceanic plastic accumulation zones act as important sinks for some of the waste accumulated in these areas." Exceptional and rapid accumulation of anthropogenic debris on one of the world's most remote and pristine islands, PNAS, April 2017.31 December 2018By Franklin Servan-Schreiber, Earthmind Senior AssociateNext article: How plastic debris affect marine life·RELATED QUESTIONWhat are sustainable replacements for the plastic packaging of foods?Banana leaves.- A supermarket chain in northern Thailand is returning to natural materials for everyday packaging use, including banana leaves.- As the world's sixth-largest contributor to marine plastic pollution, Thailand is waking up to the harmful effects of plastic pollution on our environment.- The Thai government has announced a major agreement from large retailers, plastic manufacturers and department stores to stop handing out single-use plastic bags to customers in 2020.The worldwide war on plastic has been given a massive boost with a supermarket in northern Thailand substituting plastic packaging with banana leaves. The supermarket chain is exploring new ways to reduce plastic packaging. /CGTN PhotoAt first glance, Rimping Supermarket in Chiang Mai looks just like other supermarkets across Thailand. But a banner announcing that it no longer provides plastic bags every Wednesday welcomes customers upon entering the place - this is something that is becoming increasingly common as the country wakes up to the harmful effects of plastic pollution on the environment.Something different can be seen on one of the supermarket's fresh vegetable racks.Instead of plastic, chilies, lemongrass, asparagus and other fresh produce are wrapped in banana leaves and secured together with a string made from banana trunk."We have worked internally in terms of our environmental policy for a long time," a representative of Rimping Supermarket said. "We tried other materials before, but banana leaves are easy for us since we live in a tropical country where banana leaves are abundant so supplies are infinite."The simple, yet highly relevant innovation has not been implemented on all of the shop's fresh products. The supermarket still provides plastic packaging in the area as well."The challenge is to find a way to keep the produce fresh," the representative said, adding that "some vegetables are not suitable to be wrapped in banana leaves as it becomes too humid and it doesn't retain its freshness."While banana leaf-wrapped food isn't something new in Thailand, it is unusual to see this traditional, biodegradable approach used on a large commercial scale.Banana plantations are in abundance in tropical countries like Thailand. The flexibility of the leaves makes it perfect for packaging. It's waterproof, don't leach any chemicals onto the food and once the customer is done with the packaging, the leaves are compostable, significantly reducing the need for single use plastics. An automated system sprays water on produce to ensure freshness. /CGTN PhotoElsewhere in Thailand, banning the use of plastic bags at traditional markets is still a big challenge for the Thai Government. Ranked sixth in the world for generating sea waste, Thais use an average of eight plastic bags each per day, almost 200 billion bags per year.Aware of its considerable contribution to the mountains of plastic trash floating in the oceans, Thailand's government has announced a major agreement from big retailers to stop handing out single-use plastic bags to customers from January 2020.And Rimping Supermarket's store policy can be seen as a huge step for a greener, plastic-free earth by going back to nature to find an alternative to plastic bags.Source: Banana leaves replace plastic packaging
How Is Gravitational Force Is Compared to Flow of Water?
How Is Gravitational Force Is Compared to Flow of Water?
A gravitational field can be thought of as a Potential field. It involves vector calculus, so if you haven't read up on div(ergence), grad(ient) and curl, it's going to sound like gobbledy-gook :) Put as simplistically as I can, imagine the gravitational potential energy of an object at various places above a planet. If you had a function that took a single point in space (say, latitude, longitude, and altitude) and returned the potential energy for it, you'd have something that looked like $f(lat, long, alt) textpotential energy$. $f$ would be called a "potential field".Notice that the potential field returns just a scalar (that is, just a single number and not a vector). Suppose we wanted to know in which direction an object would move if we released it from a given point. In this case, we'd take the "gradient" of the potential field, which would return a vector telling us in which direction, and by how much, an object would accelerate. It turns out that a lot of different forces in nature act like this. Liquids that have no viscosity (that is, really "thin" fluids) can be described using a potential field. So can the electrical fields from point charges, like the classical model of electrons and protons.Because the math is the same for all these different forces, it suggests that they are conceptually the same as well; if we can understand one, we can get a good handle on the others. Imagine something like a bathtub draining water out from the drain. Anything floating on top of the water surface will accelerate towards the drain. Objects further out from the drain will accelerate slower than objects closer to the drain. Just like how gravity works! However, this conceptual model fails on two counts: first, the bathtub water will also start spinning as the it "circles the drain". Objects caught in this "vortex" will start to orbit the drain. You'd think this would match gravity, but it actually doesn't. The spin is caused by friction between water molecules, and it acts to remove energy from the system. Eventually objects caught in the bathtub vortex would get pulled in towards the drain. But in space, there's no friction, and planets orbiting a star don't get slowly pulled in to it. This spinning is called the "curl" of the field. Gravity has no "curl". Neither do electrical fields. Fluids do, which is what gives fluids their tendency to "swirl". Note how objects in a potential field can still orbit, even though the field itself has no curl.Second, this model would suggest an obvious question: if gravity is like a bathtub slowly draining out, what is getting sucked (presumably space itself?) and where is it going? But this is simply a case where our simple model breaks down. Mathematically gravity is just creating a potential field, the gradient of which produces acceleration; there's no need for the potential field to balance out or anything like that. In fact, if nothing is moving, the potential field won't change either, even though it can still accelerate objects caught in it.The above explanation is highly simplistic, but it should help the metaphor make sense without using too many convenient math lies :) Sorry for the length.I listened to a lecture. The professor said that the gravitational field around the particle (spherical in shape) can be compared to a pond having a constant height and depth and water is constantly pumped in the center. The water flows radially outward which is similar to that of the gravitational field around a spherical object. Can anyone explain me how to compare gravitational field and this flow of water?·OTHER ANSWER:I listened to a lecture. She definitely won't be self-soothing at this point, and you certainly won't "spoil" her by holding her.Try swaddling her so she feels secure. Try some anti-gas medicine. Try letting her sleep in a more upright position, like in her car seat; she may have a medical condition that makes it uncomfortable to lay flat - or she just might not like to lay flat. Play soft music or white noise in the background to help her sleep better. Get some suggestions from your doctor. You have some long weeks ahead of you, Mama, but that's what parenting is about. Make sure you and Daddy take shifts to help each other get through it.• Suggested Readingmoving out on my own for the first time? im scared please send advice? You will be OK, I promise!Look at the bright side - you are ONLY 20 minutes away from your family. At the same time, you are on your own! You are embarking on a new adventure!Talk to the management about your questions. Yes, stack-able washer/dryer units are still available. I know what you mean about grocery shopping because I live on the 2nd floor. I try to go to the store every couple of days so that I don't have more bags than I can carry in one trip. The 2nd floor is great because no one lives above me! (no "elephants" walking overhead). The downside is that I can't practice line dancing or do any aerobics to dvd's because I don't want to be the "elephant" to my downstairs neighbors. lol------Toddler climbing INTO, not out of, crib?Sadly there is not much you can do about climbing in general but there is something you can buy at walmart.com called a crib tent. I bought one for my son when he was newborn to keep the cats out of the crib and to keep him in. It attaches to the top of the crib in a tent like fashion and zips and unzips. It will keep her out and will discourage her climbing it. It will also keep your younger one safe from falling out later. As for the climbing of other furniture you could try time outs when you catch her or distracting her from what she is doing by getting her interested in another activity but if she is a monkey like my son it will be hard. Good luck. You are not alone.------Putting a mattress in a play yard?I thought the same thing when I got a pack and play with changing table for the my newborn to stay at Grandma's house. I found out from several people that they are supposed to sleep on firm surfaces. You will see if you set them on anything too soft how easy they roll. I would be careful about adding a mattress bc the bassinet feature has a weight limit. You need to make sure that the weight of it and the weight of your son aren't over the limit. What I did for my daughter was wrap the mattress pad in one of the many fluffy blankets I got as a gift and then wrapped that tightly with a receiving blanket. If you do this be sure all the ends of the blankets are tucked under and you have a taut surface. It will feel more cushy and will still be safe for baby.------MIL wants us to use her son's old baby bed 22 yrs old.?Do some research on the safety of the baby bed. If it has slats like a crib, check that the slats are close enough together that the baby's head can't fit through it. If it's not safe, you may be able to find a handyman or carpenter to adapt it. Could even make it into something else -- like use the head and foot of it to make the ends of a nice new heirloom toybox / trunk. If you do find that it's safe, and you like the idea of the tradition, embrace it! It will please her, and be a nice tradition for your baby.If you hate the idea, just let her down gently... I'm so flattered by your generous offer, but I really had my heart set on this other bed... Why don't we set it up at your house so we can use it when we visit?------Fleas in basement? Can't vacuum and newborn in the house?Best, absolutely best bug control...diatomaceous earth. It is a naturally occurring substance, not man made or a reactive chemical. In minor amounts it is harmless (for liability reasons pretend you didn't read that) except to bugs. It is microscopically sharp crystals that will cut the outer shell of bugs and then they die. As far as I can tell, it kills all bugs. You can sprinkle DE with a salt shaker all around your basement, behind your furniture, on your dog (not in eyes please), on your carpets and rugs, in kitchen and linen cabinets, pretty much anywhere (I wouldn't put it in the baby's bed, but I wouldn't mind it between my mattress & box springs or in pillow cases & under sheets). It lasts as an effective bug killer until you remove it, and is very cheap at any hardware or pool supply. Only downside, it is visible on dark surfaces------My parents are adopting a 2 yr old girl?Hey!Congrats to you and your family! This is a great choice for ANY family, adoption is a wonderful thing and I'm sure you will all be a great family to the child.Your check list of things looks pretty good. Make sure that some of the toys have an educational purpose, however--and since you didn't give your age, I'll have to guess that you're a teenager. Little sisters can be veryyy annoying sometimes, but don't take any anger out on her. Be the big sister that SHE wants to be...don't party a lot, don't disobey parents, do well in school. Lead by example! Talk and play with your younger sister a lot, because it helps develop emotional and social skills. :)When it comes time to enroll her in school, be part of her education! She'll like that, a lot. Help your parents out with what they need. :)Good luck!-Lish------How can I incorporate antique furniture in a little girls room?It must be a large room I hope and is it going to be shared by both as your little girl will grow and need more space than at this present time in life.Just because the fashion mags have all white at this present time. Colour scheme change from season to season with them as next year it will be pink or blue.Nothing wrong with going all out in antique look. Like match the whole room in say Edwardian or Gothic look what ever as children's rooms can be adapted that way. I nice old fashion rocking horse and dolls house wouldn't go astray. Nice sturdy children table and chairs with a Queen Ann bed and dresser to match bringing out the beautiful wood grain would look nice.Anyway have a Happy New Year.------How can I introduce my new baby to my two dogs? After you've had your baby and dressed him/her give your husband/partner the baby's gro/hat/mits/blanket etc to take home before hand to let the dogs have a good sniff therefore they will be used to the smell when you bring baby home. When your home introduce them separately and work form there only you know your own dogs i would invest in a dog gate between rooms to so you can lock them out the room but they can still see.I would also suggest not letting them sleep/sit on the furniture its not nice the baby will get full of dogs hairs euch !!Don't be offended either but Please never leave your baby alone whether in the crib/pram any were alone with the dog(s) no matter how much they grow to love him/her.------Should I get my teacup Chihuahua spayed? It is much safer to get her spayed. Toy dogs have frequent problem pregnancies and if she were to get pregnant it could kill her. There are also potential diseases that occur in unspayed dogs. Going into heat every few months is messy and gets blood on your carpet. She will be frustrated and tend to mark territory, that means pee around the apartment.1 less risky than pregnancy or diseases2 male dogs are incredibly sneaky and single minded. A friend brings their dog over... Plus being inside is unhealthy. She needs walks as much as any other dog. Otherwise she will be overweight and have joint problems.3 Ask if you can leave her at the Vet's overnight and an extra dayLast there is no such thing as a teacup Chihuahua. Chihuahuas are, according to the breed standard, 2 - 6 pounds. If your dog is already 2 pounds and not yet fully grown, she will be larger than the breed standard, not smaller.------Im 18 live in an apartment with my boyfriend and 6 month old baby.He keeps throwing my furniture out telling .?Why don't you try getting in touch with your family in other states and see if you are able to move in with them? Or ask a friend if you can stay with them just until you get things settled. As for your boyfriend you deserve better no matter how much you may love him don't put you and your baby through that. Call your local police station and get a restraining order on him. He will more than likely get arrested depending on your states policy on domestic issues. Arizona is extremely strict and some one gets arrested on the spot. The police station can also help you find a shelter if its needed. do you and your son a favor and leave while you can it may be hard but in the long run it will be worth it best of luck girly------How to get rid of Roaches??Exterminator! If it the big ones; you don't have a problem yet! If it's the small ones that you see, that means there are more babies running around; that's a problem. The exterminator is your best bet!! My dad's house is surrounded by huge trees; which means the big tree ones. He keeps his house exterminated; and it's not a problem. If you want to go cheaper...get the 'house bombs'! You can get them at Wal-Mart; you set them off in your house and it's get in the nooks-n-crannies! Take your family to the park for the day and bomb the house. Come back, mop, dust, clean as usual! Check the label there is a certain amount of time you need to stay out of the house while it gets bombed! Good Luck!!!------How do i get my dog to not chew thingd?http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/chewing.htmHi Joe the above link might be of some help however all pups chew because they are bored or are in pain with their teeth coming through. Your parents need to understand this because they would'nt get rid of a teething baby would they? You sound vey worried so make sure you pup has a safe bone to chew on and keep him away from a room that has lots of furniture with wooden legs. My GSD is 9 months old and so far all he has destroyed is a duvet that I bought for him, he has a nice bone and I tire him out with walks and such he also has an indestructible ball. Your Vet can give you a pain killer and once the pup's teeth are through he will stop chewing everything in sight. Pick up clothes and shoes Joe so you are helping the dog.The best of luck to you both.
Scheme of Designing Pc1o4 Bus Radar Signal Display Card
Scheme of Designing Pc1o4 Bus Radar Signal Display Card
introductionPC104 bus radar signal display card applies the virtual instrument technology based on PC104 bus to the signal display in the general radar embedded diagnosis combination. It is of great significance to improve the fault detection mode of radar equipment. Through the analysis of signal waveform display principle and display method, the specific practical scheme is determined, and the design of functional circuit is completed; The interface protocol and logic control circuit of PC104 bus are realized by using special interface chip and CPLD. Finally, the relevant software program is written; The display card can work stably in the actual test process and meet the design index requirements. Therefore, the function of the display card is directly related to the final completion of the whole system.1 system hardware design and ImplementationAs shown in Fig. 1, the hardware circuit of the display card is mainly composed of input matching network, analog-to-digital conversion unit, clock generation circuit, timing generation circuit, control signal generation module and display unit. After buffered and amplified, the input analog signal enters the analog-to-digital converter ad9054, with a maximum sampling rate of 200ms / s and an analog input bandwidth of 380mhz. It has two acquisition data output ports (Port A and port B), and single port output or dual port alternating ping-pong output can be selected. The data output after a / D conversion is locked by two latches to meet the high-speed writing of subsequent memory. As shown in Fig. 1, the system timing generation control circuit generates the system clock and coordinates the working steps of each part of the system. It generates the latch clock of the latch according to the requirements of the A / D conversion sampling clock and the timing of the output interface of the A / D converter, and provides the read-write pulse of the memory with an appropriate delay. The timing generation circuit also provides a counting clock of an address generator and a recording length counter. After the system is initialized, the A / D conversion starts, and the collected data is continuously written into the memory. At this time, the timing generation circuit only provides the clock source to the address generator to make it perform " 1" operation, so that the memory address is incrementally reversed. When the trigger logic is triggered, the timing generation circuit enables the recording length counter to work, and provides the sampling clock as the counting clock source. When the recording length counter reaches the recording length set by the user, the timing generation circuit turns off the clock switch to stop the memory from turning over, and applies for data transmission to the PC. When the PC reads the collected data in some form, the timing generation circuit provides the memory readout address reversal clock according to the PC104 bus reading operation, and reads out the contents of the memory in the reverse order of the acquisition records. The logic contained in the dotted box in Figure 1 is integrated into a large-scale high-speed programmable logic device ep1k30. The trigger logic, record length counter and address generator cooperate closely to make the system work in the set way. The trigger mode is triggered by software. Once the oscilloscope card runs, it will automatically and continuously grab the waveform; External input trigger requires an external input TTL logic signal, and the logic signal to be set will trigger when it arrives; The signal level trigger is generated when the amplitude value of the collected signal reaches or exceeds the set level value. The realization of signal level trigger monitors the output result of a / D converter in real time through high-speed logic signal comparator, and triggers when the comparison result is greater than or less than the set reference value. In order to achieve the expected trigger, the address generator and the record length counter are used in combination with each other. The address generator is essentially a bidirectional ring counter. As shown in Fig. 2, it writes the address increasing data clockwise and reads the address decreasing data counterclockwise. The computer sets the working mode of the display card and reads the collected data through PC104 bus. For the simultaneous use of multiple channels, each display card has a channel number. After the software sets the status of each channel one by one, it can be triggered at the same time or separately. The external trigger input of each channel can be used for multi-channel sampling and recording at the same trigger time. PC can communicate with oscilloscope card or read sampling data through I / O, DMA, interrupt and other methods.2 system software designThe whole structure of the display card is composed of PC104 bus interface circuit and function circuit, and the function circuit is the core, so the programming of MCU software is also a very important part. The program of single chip microcomputer is written in C language. The main structure is as follows:(1) Communication program with host computer. It includes reading the command of the upper computer, transmitting the test data to the upper computer and reporting the status of the functional circuit.(2) Function. It includes AD acquisition program, range setting, reset, automatic zero adjustment, self-test, interrupt service program, etc. Therefore, the display card software consists of a main program and an interrupt program, and the program is shown in block diagram 3 and Figure 4.The main program completes the development of a data area consistent with the remote control frame format, the initialization of the chip, and the sending and receiving of serial asynchronous data. During serial asynchronous data transmission and reception, MPU will close interrupts O and 1, but this will not affect MPU's corresponding and processing of keys. When 82c79 detects that a key is pressed, it can either apply for interruption and be processed within the time gap after data transmission, or wait for 30ms, and then request interruption and be processed. The extra 30ms is much less than the time interval of the next key (at least hundreds of milliseconds), so the process of closing the interrupt does not affect the processing of the key.In interrupt program / INT0, MPU will read the key value in 82c79 and judge the key type. When the key is an ordinary key, MPU does not change the working mode of 82c79, only fills the instruction code corresponding to the key into the corresponding byte bit of the data area, and assigns R4 to #01h. When the key is the "long press" key, the MPU will immediately change the working mode of 82c79 and set it to the sensor scanning working mode after filling the command code into the corresponding byte bit of the data area. When the "long press" key is disconnected, 82c79 can notify MPU through IRQ signal again due to the change of sensor matrix. When entering the interrupt program again, MPU changes the working mode of 82c79 back to the keyboard scanning mode, and then assigns R4 value #01h. Thus, a complete key pressing process is completed. For the "long press" key matched with the knob switch, when the key is closed, the MPU also needs to turn on the A / D conversion; When the key is disconnected, the MPU will turn off the A / D conversion. In the interrupt program to, every two interrupts, i.e. 80ms (the working frequency of MPU determines that its maximum timing cannot reach 80ms), MPU will set the serial data transmission pointer.conclusionSolve the bottleneck problem of PC104 bus data transmission and allocate hardware resources reasonably. The outstanding advantage of PC104 bus is its simple structure and easy development, but its transmission rate is slow. The practical application shows that the design of radar signal display card based on PC104 bus can overcome the above design defects, especially can fully meet the requirements of portable design characteristics and meet the requirements of maintenance training.
Why Isn't There a Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow?
Why Isn't There a Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow?
that is a myth and when they say that they actualy mean if you get to the end of the rainbow you will get good luck forever and besides it is impossible to go to the end of the rainbow no offense sorry1. If I wear a shirt with a rainbow on it, or have a coin purse with a rainbow on it, does that automatically? Not on a girl. I think it's more the rainbow flag that is symbolic, not rainbows in and of themselves2. solo somewhere over the rainbow..PLEASE help? There are a few tricks that people who do public performances do: If there is any way whatsoever to get into the place where you will be auditioning, go. Stand where you will be doing the audition and see the room from a different point of view. If you can not do that, go to a similar place (classroom? auditorium?) and stand on stage or in front and become familiar with the room from a different point of view. Practice singing if you want, but really, just being in the area can help. Practice. A lot. Practice in front of your mirror. Your eyes will "see" a person there. Use stuffed animals if you have access. Practice in front of them. Again, it helps prepare you for an audience. The closer you get to the audition, practice the mindset you want to have for the actual audition. Walk into your practice area with confidence and sing the song the way you plan on singing it for the audition. The more you practice the right way, the more your muscle memory will take over when it comes show time. Remember that everyone gets nervous. And remember that the people for whom you are auditioning want you to succeed. Break a leg!3. How do you get the Rainbow Pass in LeafGreen/FireRed Pokemon Advance Game?To get the rainbow pass in Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green, you nedd to go back to Mt.Ember in Island #1after you beat the Elite 4.There,you will see two Team Rocket Grunts(you will hear them talking about the first password to the Rocket Warehouse) and you battle both of them one by one. Once you've defeated them,go inside the cave behind both grunts and go down the stairs(you will need pokemons who learned strength and rock smash). When you reach a fork in the cave, choose the one going south and again, take the stairs until you reach the floor that has a ruby in the center.Take the ruby and give it to Celio. He will say he needs another gem that's the partner of the ruby and then he will give you the rainbow pass w/c takes you to Islands # 4,5,6 & 7. One of those islands(i wo not tell w/c) has the other gem,the sapphire.Once you get the sapphire, give it again to Celio in Island #1 then once the two gems are with him, you can now trade from...none other than Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire! For the map of Victory Road,go to the 2nd site listed below. Lastly, for the Legendary Birds,an ultra ball is useful but when you let the ball out to catch the pokemon, hold A (i read it in the internet)but it only works sometimes and you will have to buy at least 40-50 ultraballs(but not per pokemon)4. The ideal way to house a baby brazilian rainbow boa?It sounds like the small enclosure would be preferable right now as long as it keeps humidity in well. My only concern is that Brazilian Rainbows like to climb, and it it can climb very high in a 6" ceiling. Nevertheless, I would put it there until it is eating regularly. once it has a regular eating schedule and knows where you usually put its food (assuming you are using pinkies or fresh frozen and killed rats and mice). the large enclosure you have sounds like a Neodesha cage which is considered optimum for these snakes as it gives them room to climb. When you put it in there you should add some sturdy horizontal and vertical branches and a water bowl big enough for it to bathe in.5. How would i paint a rainbow checkered wall (pic included)?I painted one wall in my sons room like a checkered flag, and the other 3 walls red since that was his favorite color. So first of all I would just do 1 wall checkered and when it comes to the other 3 paint them your favorite color. The way we painted his checkered wall was by painting the wall white to begin with, and then used a sponge to make the black sections, and touched up with a small brush. It was easier to use the sponge then it was to tape it off. Good luck
Where Can I Learn More About American Sports?
Where Can I Learn More About American Sports?
i let you know anything you want just email me1. Are American Sports (USA) really based on race?I think you are overreacting. As long as you have the right qualifications, any team would take a look at you. As far as the Asian issue, there is more than enough evidence in the MLB and the NBA. Two Indians got drafted by the Pirates, but I do not know how far they are in their minor league system. As for Football, there is one Asian for the Dallas Cowboys who retired a couple of years ago, Dat Nguyen. Look him up in Wikipedia. Anything is possible if you've got what it takes.2. What are some examples of potentially great careers in North American sports that were cut off or extremely hampered by injuries?Sandy Koufax. He was unquestionably the most dominant pitcher in a decade known for dominant pitchers and was forced to retire due to an arthritic left arm at age 30.In his last season, he won the Cy Young Award unanimously, lead the league in strikeouts, ERA and wins and took his team to the World Series for the second straight year. And then he retired. He knew retirement was imminent all season; his doctor had urged him to quit during spring training. But Koufax kept the diagnosis to himself until the season ended.Though he played 12 seasons, Koufax was dominant for only his last five years. As a result, he did not hit the typical marks set by most pitchers in the Hall. His 165 wins, 2,386 strikeouts and 2. 76 ERA would not appear dominant necessarily. But when you consider he did most of that within five seasons it's rather staggering. His first seven seasons consisted of some bullpen work and spot starts. Early in his career he had a tremendous fastball but little control and was known to tip his pitches. This equated to flashes of brilliance and leading the league in wild pitches in 1958. Once he changed some mechanics and developed a curve ball he was essentially unhittable. If he had pitched even five more seasons it's entirely likely his career numbers would have hit some of those marks that typically guarantee Hall of Fame stature, 3,000 strikeouts 300 wins. And his ERA would likely have been lower as his ERA during his dominant seasons was well below his career ERA of 2.76. Most agree his fastball was in the high 90s (speed gun was not in use yet) and had what some believe was the greatest curveball ever. Though his control and curveball improved, he was still known to tip pitches during his dominant run. Even though hitters knew what was coming (fastball or curveball) they still could not hit him.Koufax was a first ballot Hall of Famer in 1972 and the youngest player ever elected. In the late 1990s or early 2000s he pitched a few rounds of batting practice during spring training and was clocked in the 80s. Another batting practice in the late 1980s allegedly involved him striking out the Dodgers lineup. The guy could just flat out pitch. For my money, he's my favorite lefty ever and a shame his career was cut short.3. What is the best rivalry in all of American sports?earnhardt jr. vs. jeff gordon4. How would you rank American sports according to the level of their fans' intelligence?Football not that Intelligent. Hockey not that Intelligent. Basketball definitely not Intelligent. Baseball seems to be the only Intelligent sport especially if you live in New York City5. Is Babe Ruth the most famous american sports figure of all time?I would say him and Jackie Robinson :) In this day and age, it's Derek Jeter6. Soccer vs American sports what is better? What is 'better'? Dude, this is strictly a matter of opinion. The rest of the world loves soccer which does not bother me in the slightest. America loves Football & to a lesser degree basketball & baseball which also does not bother me in the slightest. I do not think America is under any obligation to love soccer just because the rest of the world does any more than they are obligated to love football, basketball & baseball and frankly its always offended me that some soccer fans (not necessarily you) act like something is wrong with Americans just because they have not embraced it. You know, Canada loves hockey more than anything else, Japan loves sumo wrestling, some Latin countries still emrace bull fighting & Americans love football. Everybody has the right to follow the sports they want.
